Gung hei faat choi!

Happy Chinese New Year! We went into China Town & Trafalgar Square to check out the festivities. We heard a lot of clanging and banging but there were about a billion people so hard to see stuff....fun to be amongst it though!

Things are starting to warm up a bit here...little daffodils have popped up in our garden showing signs of Spring. Our jobs are going well. Paul is looking for a new job to start when we get back from a couple of weeks away at the end of March so he will have a bit of a change soon.

St Albans in the snow!

So as you can see we had a bit of a dump here last week! Unfortunately the snow caused a bit of chaos with the transport so we had a "work from home" day on Thursday which included a lot of frolicking in the snow! I don't think there were any kids at school either cause they all seemed to be in the park tobogganing! Anyway, thought you might like to see beautiful St Albans in white :)

Australia vs. Denmark

So we went and rallied once again with our fellow Aussies for the mighty Socceroos....not the greatest game and the main highlight was definately Jimmy Barnes coming onto the field to sing the National Anthem...the crowd went ballistic and we sang our little hearts out with pride! The ref made some questionable calls and disallowed 2 Aussie goals...hmmmm.....with the final score being Australia 1 Denmark 3. We had fun though so all is good!
