The Tomato

Hey guys, sorry for the blog silence.
Things have been a bit hectic with work and exploring various places.
I'm starting a new job tomorrow in Hammersmith - with a community mental health team as the senior OT. It will be a bit of a challenge I think which is always good!
Paul is being 'bent over backwards' (as Mark Sherwin would put it!) at the Speech & Drama college where he is working. Things should settle down a bit for him now though. He has been pining for the surf especially with this heat wave that seems to not want to go away to a place where you can actually cool down!!
So...this brings me to introduce to you The Tomato. Paul appears to have replaced surfing (and riding for that matter) with...The Tomato. He has been diligently nuturing his little tomato seeds since planting them a few weeks ago and I have been there with him too...from the nervous wait after sowing, to the shrieks of delight as the little shoots popped through. Yes, it's weird, but the little plants are growing on me also and I too have joined in with the daily check. So, stay tuned for more words regarding The Tomato.
As you can see from the last entry, we have made it to Paris. Had a great time catching up with the Taylors and Jaggers from church back home. We hope to get back there in Winter to check it out a bit more.
We are hoping to get to a few more places over the next couple of months while the weather is nice. Sounds like everyone goes into hibernation for the winter here because it is too cold to do anything!
We'll keep you all posted anyway...
