Brighton...& the surf was cranking!

Hey Guys!
Well, we finally made it to the seaside! Oh for the smell of salty air and the sound of sqwarking seagulls...although the seagulls were more like seaEAGLES - massive, fluffy, scary looking things...So nice to just be near water, even if it was as flat as a pancake and the pebbles a little rough on the old feet. We also happened to unknowingly pick the weekend of a Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gra so was a little wild and confronting to say the least! Brighton is a funky place though, an old fishing town with lots going on.

Things are plodding along nicely at the moment. The heat continues...makes doing the grocery shop a bit of a nightmare, especially since it is about a 15-20min walk coming home uphill! Yep, really missing the old Barina... I'm trying to convince Paul to let me purchase one of those wheely trolley things- you know the bright red tarten ones you see grannies using, but...I have been forbidden.
Work is going well for both of us, but we are looking forward to our next holiday in about a month. The Senior Sherwinators are coming to town..in a week in fact and we will be heading up to Ireland with them for a bit - for some Guiness and leprikorn hunting!
So, that's about it for an update.
Look forward to hearing about what's going on in your world!
xx
